Especially for those who can't walk! Maximize your tour time in Rome and get to know the city as if you walked it, but don't walk it! You sit comfortably and you fully enjoy the city around you, driving through the evocative streets of the old city, avoiding most of the main streets crowded by all kinds of noisy and smelly vehicles. 	I've been touring people all over Rome and Italy for over 40 years and I still enjoy doing it, I'm not tired of it yet! Rome and the Vatican are obviously on top of the list of the places tourists want to be taken to, but I give my best when I have the opportunity to show the real Italy, I like to take you to visit places you can’t find on guide books, off the beaten path for the average tourist. In Rome itself and out in the surrounding countryside. Sometimes I have to work hard to convince people to go with me on a private tour of the Catacombs, a walk in the park with the ruins of the Roman aqueducts or to discover how the Romans lived their daily life by strolling through the ruins of Ostia Antica. But when I finally manage, at the end of the tour they always say they're glad I convinced them! This website gives you an idea of the tours I do. I like my tours of Rome to be special tours and so even when I'm on the regular full day tour of Rome I try to make it special by including some out-of-the-way stuff, a Segway ride in the park, or touring around old Rome by golf cart! I also do theme tours like the retracing the sites in Dan Brown’s novel “Angels and Demons” for example, or a tour based on the baroque style or ancient Rome as well as a tour of Jewish Rome.
Paolo in Rome was the best guide we've ever met. He seemed to know everything about Rome and was able to answer every question any of us had. His grasp of historical facts (including dates) was astounding. He showed us things one doesn't find in any guidebooks and took us to a great restaurant we'd never have found without his assistance.
