Would you like to preview the nice Casale Marchese where we will have our dinner after a quick excursion on Wednesday evening? Click here and be patient, the web site is fancy, but it takes ages to load.

30/07/2002

A shuttle bus or car service to/from Villa Grazioli will be available free of charge for delegates who are staying in other hotels in Frascati and Grottaferrata or from the Frascati railroad station for delegates who are staying in Rome. Please, get in touch with us if you need to be picked up on Monday 26th. We will arrange your subsequent transfers when you check in at the conference.

A taxi transfer from the Rome airports to Frascati or Grottaferrata can be reserved for you. The price is 68 Euros from Rome Fiumicino airport and 45 Euros from Rome Ciampino airport. The taxi transfer is certainly more expensive than the train, but it can be a good solution if you share it with other people, as the price is the same for up to 4 persons. If you want to reserve your transfer, please get in touch with us.

You can also get from the airports to Frascati by train. There are very frequent trains from the Rome Fiumicino airport to the Rome Termini station (the "Leonardo Express" leaves from Rome Fiumicino every 30 minutes and costs 8.80 Euros) and from there to Frascati (the trains leave about every hour and cost less than 2 Euro). It usually takes from something more than one hour to three hours to get from Rome Fiumicino to Frascati by train, depending on the time you wait before leaving and on the time you wait in the Rome Termini station for the connection to Frascati.

Click here for the Rome-Frascati-Rome train timetable.

If you are arriving in Rome Ciampino and you want to get to Frascati by train you have to take a bus from the airport to the Ciampino railraod station (they are leaving about every 30 minutes). From there you will get to Frascati by train in less than 15 minutes.

In Frascati you will probably need to take a taxi to get to your hotel. Otherwise, you can get in touch with your hotel for its shuttle bus service (Villa Grazioli and Villa Mercede offer this service). There are also buses that connect Frascati to Rome. They leave about every 30 minutes and they can be useful for people who is staying at the Eden Tuscolano Hotel, that has no shuttle bus.

In case you need more information about transportations, drop us a line.

20/07/2002

The final program is now available (and this time - for the first time! - we're early with respect to the expected date)

20/05/2002

The preliminary program and a list of keynote lectures, contributed papers and posters is now available. We apologize for the delay, but we hope it will help to avoid major changes in the final program.

Information about other hotels is also available.

18/03/2002

A preliminary version of the conference program will be available by the end of March.

10/03/2002

Instructions to Authors are now available.

Participants that would like to stay at Villa Grazioli should book their rooms by the end of March, either using the on-line form or getting in touch with Villa Grazioli (in this case you have to mention the ISEI conference in order to take profit of the special room rates). After that date we are not sure that rooms will be still available, as our option for them expires on March 31.

08/03/2002

Some of the participants did not receive the abstract acceptance notification, probably because of a failure in the outgoing mail server (or, more likely, because of an unrecognized human failure!). Therefore, a second notification will be sent to everybody next week. The message will include a link to the "Instructions to Authors" page, that will be soon available.

24/01/2002

Abstracts for poster presentations only will be still accepted up to June 30, 2002.

Details about the keynote speakers are now available in the program page.

10/11/2001

Reserve your room at Villa Grazioli Park Hotel using the on-line reservation form! More information about accommodations at Villa Grazioli Park Hotel is now available.

20/08/2001

The on-line registration form as well as information about the registration fees is now available. Early registration is not only cheaper, but also helpful, as it will allow a better planning of the Conference.

Further informations about accomodations (both in Villa Grazioli and in other hotels) will be available in September.

12/08/2001

All the details about registration fees as well as the final registration form will be available by August 20.

10/08/2001

The first official announcement of the conference will be delivered by email in a few days. It was due by June 30, but, before releasing it, several attempts were made in order to arrange the payment of the registration fees by credit card too. Unfortunately, these attempts failed (our Universities don't like very much credit cards...) and registration fees will be payable (in Euro!) by bank transfer of by cheque only.

29/05/2001

Now you can pre-register on-line in order to be included in the conference mailing list and to receive the next announcements.

28/05/2001

This is a preliminary version of the Conference web site: add it to your bookmarks and check it again by the end of June!
