General Features

The KAMFLEX EUROPE coupling, is a mechanical pipe joint consisting of a centre sleeve, end flanges, wedge- shaped rubber sealing rings and nuts and bolts.

The main components are constructed from high quality ductile iron for small sizes and hot rolled profiled steel for large sizes.

Kamflex Europe products are suitable for use with potable water as well as in waste water, sewage and general engineering sectors.

Kamflex Europe couplings and flange adaptors can be manufactered to suit almost any pipe outside diameter or flange drilling.

Most rigid and semi-rigid pipe materials can be joined with Kamflex Europe couplings, e.g. steel, grey and ductile iron, asbestos cement, u-PVC, GRP, etc.

Our couplings can be used on pipes above and below-ground by applying different design criteria.

Products

RANGER:

Wide range couplings and flange adaptors are the next generation of metal couplings (DN 50 - DN 600). They join pipes of various outside diameters. Ranger products are supplied pre-assembled.

STRAIGHT DEDICATED COUPLING:

They join pipes of the same outside diameter in the current production range from 600 - 1200 mm; on request larger sizes. The couplings can be manufactured to both imperial and metric dimensions in any size. Couplings up to 650 mm OD are delivered pre-assembled. Larger sizes are delivered ready for site assembly on the pipe.

FLANGE DEDICATED ADAPTOR:

Kamflex Europe flange adaptors are manufactured to join plain ended pipe to flanged valves, fittings, flow meters and pipes, eliminating difficulties usually experienced with rigid connections. Flange drillings are available to all international standards or to customer specifications.

DISMANTLING JOINT:

A double flanged composite fitting, featuring a telescopic action between a flanged spigot and a flange adaptor, specially designed to provide longitudinal Adjustment in flanged pipe systems. Dismantling joints also provide a simple method for the installation and removal of flanged valves, pumps, flow meters and flanged pipework. The rods are provided for final anchoring and location and also double as flange jointing bolts.

STEPPED COUPLING:

Where pipe ends of different outside diameters have to be connected, stepped couplings can be provided. These normally cover the difference between the outside diameters of pipes of different materials having a common nominal bore, or pipes of the same materials having different nominal bores.

Where couplings and flange adaptors are required for pipes in non-standard sizes and material or where standard outside diameters are not exact, details of the actual pipe OD's and tolerance should be stated. Design consideration should be given to surface finish of pipe materials too; by its very nature the Kamflex Europe coupling system relies upon good surface contact between the sealing rings and the pipe surface, and consideration must be given to pipe end preparation on pipes with naturally rough or uneven surface finish.

LES MANCHONS D'ADAPTATIONS METALIQUES

Caractéristiques générales

Les raccords KAMFLEX EUROPE, sont des jonctions universelles composés par un joint mécanique constitué d'un manchon central, deux contre brides, deux garnitures d'étanchéité et boulonnerie. Ils sont fabriqués à partir d'une qualité supérieure de fonte ductile pour les petits diamètres et d'acier pour les gros diamètres. Les produits Kamflex Europe sont utilisables sur les conduits d'eau potable aussi bien que dans le domaine du transport d'eau, travaux neufs et réparation.

Les manchons Kamflex Europe et les adaptateurs á bride sont fabriqués pour permettre l'assemblage de tuyaux avec différents diamètres extérieurs et même diamètre nominal.

Les raccords KAMFLEX EUROPE "RANGER" permettent l'assemblage des tuyaux des matériaux différents, ex: acier, fonte ductile, fibre ciment, PVC, etc.

Les adapteurs peuvent aussi être utilisés sur des systèmes des conduites souterrains ou extèrieurs.

Caractéristiques techniques

Les raccords (RANGER) sont disponibles dans une gamme dimensionelle, composée par manchons et adapteur á bride qui permettent de raccorder des tuyaux avec différents diamètres (du DN 50 à DN 600. Les raccords sont fournis assemblés.

Les raccords (STANDARD) raccordent les tuyaux de diamètres identiques dans une gamme de produits standards allant d'un diamètre de 600 à 1200 mm (diamètres supérieurs disponibles sur demande), les raccords sont fabriqués selon le standard métrique ou "impérial". Les manchons et les adaptateurs à brides sont livrés pré assemblé jusqu'au 650 mm.

En cas d'installation des tubes avec différents diamètres extérieurs sont disponibles des manchons réduits. Les adaptateurs a brides "KAMFLEX EUROPE" peuvent raccorder des tuyaux avec une vanne, une obturation ou des autres tuyaux. Les brides sont disponibles selon les principaux standards internationaux.

En cas d'utilisations des raccords KAMFLEX EUROPE "RANGER" sur des systèmes de conduit avec diamètre extérieur, matériaux ou surfaces particulières, KAMFLEX EUROPE serait disponible à fournir des solutions sur demande.

ALLGEMEINE EIGENSCHAFTEN UND ANWENDUNGEN:

Die von KAMFLEX EUROPE Metallverbindungen, sind ein Verbindungssystem das Folgendermassen zusammengestellt ist: Muffe, Enden mit Flanschen, gerillte Dichtungen, Schraubenmütter und Bolzen. Die Hauptbestandteile füer kleinere Maße sind aus äusserst hochwertigem, "flexiblen" Gusseisen gefertigt, wärend grössere, Metallverbindungen aus Kalt Gewalztem Stahl gemacht sind.

Kamflex Europe Produkte sind für die Anwendung mit Trinkwasser geeignet und können deshalb für Wasserverteilungssysteme, Kanalisierung, Feuerbekämpfung und viele andere Industriebranchen benützt werden.

Kamflex Europe Verbindungen und Flansch Adaptoren lassen sich ausgezeichnet an alle Ausendurchmesser von Standardrohren und Flanschenlochungen anpassen.

Fast alle steifen und halbsteife Materialen können mit Kamflex Europe Verbidungen verbunden werden, wie zum Beispiel Stahl, verschiedene Arten von Gusseisen, Asbestzement, PVC und mit Glasfaser verstärktem Plastik.

Unsere Verbindungen können, unter Anwendung von verschieden en Planungskriterien, unter oder ueber irdisch benützt werden

Produkte

RANGER:

Universalverbindungen und Universalverbindungen mit Flanschen. Es handelt sich dabei um die neueste Generation von Metallverbindungen, mit einer Serie von 50 mm (2“) bis zu 600 mm (24“). Diese Verbindungen werden vormontiert geliefert.

GERADE KUPPLUNGEN

verbinden Rohre mit gleichem Außendurchmesser,, Serie von 50 bis zu 1200 mm, oder größere Durchmesser nach Anfrage. Diese Verbindungen können für metrische oder BS Maße produziert werden.

Bis zu 650 mm Außendurchmesser werden diese Verbindungen zusammengestellt geliefert. Sondergrößen werden zur Montierung „Am Platz“ geliefert.

Im Falle einer Benützung von Rohren mit verschiedener Außen durchmesser:

ist es möglich reduzierte Verbindungen zu bekommen, die normalerweise die Unterschiede zwischen Rohren mit den selben Nominalen Maßen aber verschiedene Materialien, oder zwischen Rohren mit verschiedenen Maßen ausgleichen.

DIE FLANSCHEN ADAPTOREN:

verbinden Rohre mit glattem Ende an Kugelhähne mit Flanschen, Fittings, Durchflussmesser und Rohre, ohne die Schwierigkeiten die normalerweise steife Verbindungen zeigen. Die Lochung der Flanschen ist in allen internationalen Standards und nach Anfrage des Kunden verfügbar.

Im Falle einer Benützung von nicht Standard Materialien oder Größen, müssen die spezifischen Außendurchmesser und die Toleranzen sorgfältig untersucht werden.

Es ist auch notwendig die Verarbeitung der Oberflächen zu berücksichtigen; eine der Eigenschaften der Kamflex Europe Verbindungen ist dass man über einen sehr guten Oberflächenkontakt der Dichtungen verfügt, daher ist eine sehr gute Vorbereitung der zerfressenen oder mit unregelmäßigen Oberflächen Rohrenden unentbehrlich.
