Principles and Aims of the Association
Nowadays the people of Argentina are suffering the ruinous effects of an unprecedented crisis.
Deprived of the essential rights, work, education and food, daily a large number of people are pushed towards poverty and ignorance.
The disastrous situation of industry, of public health, education, the neglect in old age, among other aspects, all contribute to the difficulties of Argentina.
However there are people who have chosen to raise their voices in defence and support of new solutions through autonomous organisation and reciprocal help.
This intense crisis is felt mainly by children, unemployed and retired people, families and single parents.
We intend to support projects that give back dignity and social standing to all these categories.
Hence a new organization A.S.E.AR. : Asociacion Solidaria Euro Argentina - (Euro Argentina Solidarity Association).
Our immediate goals include the collection of resources and people’s personal involvement.
The funds and support will go to:
Co-operatives, social workers, low priced canteens, small enterprises, schools, universities, trade unions and any organization that can help in changing the present and creating a better future for everyone.
Learning together, helping each other and participating in the working experience are our chosen tools.
Whoever has travelled later to Argentina, knows first hand, the actual difficult situation in the country.
The main problem we face is the total lack of financial aid.
Therefore our association intends to collect funds with a moderate annual fee from the interested parties, to be destined to the above mentioned activities, and to promote a solidarity network among people towards a different and more equal world.
We are a Euro Argentina solidarity association, with a worldwide membership.
Each member of ASEAR will pay the fee most affordable for her/him.
The members will participate in the ideal growth of the association and to its developments recruiting other members.
We will collect funds from individual people, companies and institutions that share our goals and / or,just want to participate in one of our projects.
We encourage our members to spread information and increase the members of people involved.
Our association will also help our European members in contacting their peers in Argentina and will assist them.
Thus our European network, based on voluntary service only, will help the above mentioned structures in Argentina and the European people who want to get involved actively in helping this country.
All the collected funds will be sent to Argentina, only the running expenses of the association will be deducted from these funds.
Our website : www.asear.org will supply members and interested people about our goals, activities, funds collected and how they are used, projects in progress, expenses, etc.
The annual membership fee will also collected via computer.
We want to ensure complete traceability and clarity about our activities. Therefore we only have one banking account. The members will be able to access accounting of fees, funds, expenses and etc. in our website.
The projects supported by ASEAR will be proposed by the above mentioned structures and / or by our Argentinean representatives.
Whoever intend to participate in these projects or request financial aid will need to submit a complete professional curriculum and or a detailed plan as well as a feasibility study.
As we are constantly aware of the funds needed, the association committee will choose the plans with the highest chance of multiplying income and creating new jobs.
The association cooperates with members, honorary members, technicians, in order to keep a tight control over the collection and use funds, the choice of projects to be supported, the work in progress and subsequent phases.
