 Un promontorio che si
affaccia nel Mar Ligure per 3,5 Km, creando in tal modo le basi per contrasti
vegetazionali incredibili: vi si possono infatti trovare al suo interno più di 1000
specie vegetali molto diverse tra loro.
Specie tipiche del Nord Europa convivono con la macchia mediterranea in un paesaggio
d’inaudita bellezza, caratterizzato da versanti dirupati a Sud e versanti più dolci
a Nord.
La Riserva Marina recentemente istituita per tutelare i fondali del promontorio, le
Abbazie di S.Fruttuoso e di San Nicolò di Capodimonte, l’area di cornice che lo
contorna a Nord giungendo sino a Chiavari, fanno del Parco una meta ambita e frequentata
ogni anno da migliaia di amanti della natura e da subacquei, che hanno così modo di
cogliere tutti gli aspetti di questo meraviglioso laboratorio naturalistico.
A 3.5 Km long headland overlooking the Ligurian sea, therefore creating the basis for
unbelievable vegetation contrasts. More than 1000 different species of plants are growing
in this area.
You may find typical North European species growing next to the vegetation of the
Mediterranean maquis in a breathtaking scenery, a landscape characterised by rugged, rocky
slopes to the south and gentle slopes to the North.
The Marine Reserve was recently formed to protect the sea bottom below the headland; the
Abbeys of San Fruttuoso e San Nicolò di Capodimonte, and the surroundings framing it to
the North up to Chiavari make this Park every year an attraction for thousands of
nature-loving visitors and scuba-divers, who may admire all the aspects of this marvellous
naturalistic laboratory.
Die gebirgige Landzunge ragt 3,5 km in das Ligurische Meer hinaus und birgt auf diese
Weise unglaubliche Vegetationskontraste: Im Landinneren finden sich mehr als 1000 sehr
unterschiedliche Pflanzenarten.
 Typische nordeuropäische
Pflanzen leben neben der typischen Mittelmeerflora in einer Landschaft unwahrscheinlicher
Schönheit, die im Süden steil abfallende Hänge, im Norden sanftere Hügel aufweist.
Das Seereservat, das kürzlich gegründet wurde, um die Wassergründe um das Vorgebirge zu
schützen, die Abteien San Fruttuoso und San Nicolò di Capodimonte, die Berge, die es im
Norden bis Chiavari einrahmen, machen den Park zu einem beliebten Ausflugsziel, das jedes
Jahr Tausende Naturliebhaber und Unterwassersportler besuchen, die dieses märchenhafte
Naturlabor wirklich geniessen.
