Appetais Italia S.p.A. originates from the union of two businesses: Comisal International established in the sixties by Palmera, Star and other partners, specialized in locating and purchasing fish products for food industry and the company -45, founded in the seventies as a deep-frozen food processing and packaging business.
From their merger in the nineties a new industrial group arose, combining the know-how and skills acquired in decades of industrial activity. Focus on technological innovation, constant care for clients’ needs and a new philosophy in research and control process management lead in 2001 to the creation of the brand Appetais Italia.
