Freyssinet - Terra Armata Invoicing Management

FreyFact The billing management was used for a short time after the merger by incorporation of the Terra Armata Prefabbricati Srl with Freyssinet Srl. Basically it is a small executable that ran a Microsoft Access© database, therefore with all the characteristics typical of this type of application, from the management of search queries in the various tables, to the generation of various types of reports related to customers, invoices and orders, including the generation of invoices themselves. The program is able to obtain all the information related to the customer records and their invoices, as well as to which orders these invoices refer to. The fundamental feature that makes it different from a normal Microsoft Access© DB was the creation of two distinct classes that linked this database with the two accounting programs, and then with the two different databases (one was the Profis© by Sistemi Srl), in use by the two companies (Freyssinet Spa and Terra Armata Prefabbricati Srl) prior to the merging. From the main control panel you can access the various sections (Customer Data, Billing, Printouts, etc.), followed by a panel for managing personal data and a mask for the insertion of a new customer. Through this form, the program automatically checks if the customer you are inserting is already present in one of the two master data of Terra Armata or Freyssinet in the respective database of accounting programs and if the information is identical or conflicting; if the customer is present in one or both previous databases, through a specific popup for the active field asks the operator what information he wants to keep or if he wants to update it with different data. The modification of these data is then inserted in both original databases, without going through the accounting programs in use previously, and populates the customer registry of the new accounting program adopted by the new company. It often happened that, for reasons of management of old contracts before the merging, the old accounting programs had to be used even after the two companies had become one. In the image below you can see the invoice management control panel and the invoice generation mask, which as a special feature had the ability to connect to a fourth database in use in logistics and which directly retrieved the invoice object and the quantities from the DDT transport documents of the material sent to the construction site.
