I graduated in 1987 at the "Istituto Tecnico Commerciale Commercio Estero "Guido Piovene"" in Vicenza, which is an High school specialized in foreign commerce, obtaining a 58/60 mark. In this school I   acquired a good knowledge of international commerce practice and business administration and studied  three foreign languages (English and French for 5 years, German for three years).

  • 1989-1995 Export Sales Department - Fabrics Division

    The job involved managing relations with customers, mainly through resident agents, collecting their orders, keeping customers up-to date on the production status and deliveries and managing all kind of commercial problems, replying to all their different enquiries.
    I followed markets all over the world, either in Europe (France, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria) and oversea (Canada, USA, Middle and Far East) acquiring commercial experience with almost all contries.
    For almost one year I was in charge of the Italian market, with direct contacts with customers.
    I also attended different textile Fairs, such as Idea Biella in Como and Premiere Vision in Paris.

    1995-1997 Assistant to the General Counsel

    In 1995 I was trasnferred to the Legal Department of the Company as personal Assistant to the Legal Counsel. In this position, I learned all the different legal aspects of the Company, assisting the 3 internal lawyers in issuing different kinds of agreements (Agency, Distribution, Sales' Solictors, Licence Agrements) in Italian and in other languages. In particular I assisted them writing many contracts and writing directly most of the correspondence, I directly managed all communications to ENASARCO (the Italian Previdence Institute for Agents) in relation to all Agents of Marzotto, I prepared and collected all documents required to apply for   tenders and I was in charge of all the filing and research of the Legal Department.
    In 1997 I was also Assistant to the Chief Financial Officer of the Company.

    1998-August 2000 - Corporate Office

    Since 1998, I have been assistant to the Manager of the Corporate Office, with whom I cooperate to handle all the corporate aspects of Marzotto S.p.A. (which is listed at the Stock Exchange in Milan), and, in general, of the whole Marzotto Group (which includes about 20 Italian and foreign subsidiaries).
    In partiular we dealt with all legal and corporate aspects of our Company and Group, in particular pertaining toits listing at the Stock Exchange (by way of example conveying and organizing  Statutory Boards meetings, keeping the   Minutes of the Meetings for all Statutory Boards,  relations with the Company's shareholders, with Italian Stock Exchange Authority (Consob), with Italian Stock Exchange and Banca d'Italia)  and complying with the Companies Register's and Consob's (Italian Exchange Authority) also concerning the affiliated foreign companies.
    I personally handled all procedures for the registration in the Companies Register, the calling and writing in the prescribed books of the Minutes of the Meetings of Shareholders' and other Boards' (such as Board of Directors and Executive Committee) both for Marzotto SpA and other subsidiaries.


  • Other working experience:

    For the last two years I have been a free-lance translator, in and from English and French  and from German. In particular, I translated scientific and business documents from English to Italian for an Italian company which distributes in Italy American and Australian medical devices.
    After graduation, in 1987, I worked for three months at the "Centro Contabile Trissino" , an accounting office. Since I wanted to improve my German and I longed to live in other countries, in May 1988 I spent five months in (Staffelstein) Germany working in an Italian ice-cream shop. rent country.

    I like very much learning and speaking foreign languages. I love travelling, and I would like to travel also for my job.

    I am well skilled on PC usage and I work with the most common tools for word processing (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Lotus Approach) and MS Internet Explorer and Outlook. I am also learning HTML 4.0 language and Front Page software to create Web pages.
    I'd like to work in a dynamic environment where to use my expertise and knowledge at the best and where my commitment is appreciated, while enabling me to learn something new.
    In my spare time, I travel whenever I have the opportunity, I love movies, reading (mainly Italian and foreign novels), listening to music, swimming, biking.
