Riomaggiore connected
to La Spezia by scenic roadway, is named after the stream which crosses it. It is lovely
to see the seashore and the upper side of the village.
The church of San Giovanni Battista, has two wonderful twin marble doors.
Above the village lies the Sanctuary of Madonna di Montenero .
