
Is actually the General secretary of I.M.A.F.D. organization and also in recognition of his unique commitment to the deaf community which is graduate of B.S. degree in Community Health Education from california State University at Northridge (CSUN), M.Ed. degree from Western Maryland College, Certificate in Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counseling from UCLA. He took up martial arts to develop self-confidence, and said that the concentration, courage and visualization skills he learned from the arts has paid off in areas of his life.
He is the his high level degree and technical of master under the U.F.A.F. (United Figthing Arts Federation) by hearing and he has becomed the Technical responsible of Area for North America under the I.M.A.F.D. organization since 1995 which he continue to teach any deaf childrens and hearings schools in California.


From Jackson, Mississippi he actually pledge to work under the School for the deaf
and
he also continue to train and teach his fighting arts by any hearing gyms. In recognition of his curriculum to
share an numerous international tournaments under the I.S.M.A.F. & I.M.A.F.D to attain the high level classifed.





He was learned in Cuba when started in Karate with his instructor Rizo was only permited by the governament of Castro to teach his skills to military personnel before he had already taken eight years of Judo. Arteaga summed up-life in Cuba as compared to the U.S. for political prisoner of his father and to abound it.
Since December 1997 is opened to teach in Deaf High School groups of Broward, Florida




Also he is been partecipate the international competition with the numerous victory resulted for his experience by hearing .



One look at martial artist tournament record might serve as slight hint that he was destined for fame.
In any years ago, he's garnered victories in the North America karate Championships. the Midwest tae Kwon Do Championships, the Richmond Greater Open martial arts tournament and a recent, grueling Iron man Tournament.
He teaches TaeKwonDo, Judo & self-defense to scores of young children who train at white's School of the Arts.
Both he have won medals during past tournaments for the deaf since 1995 until 1997 from Norway, compliments !

This international TaeKwonDo group of deaf: Terry Davis is center among A.Califiero (ITA), L.H.Nam's TKD master (Kor), G. Gaschk (AUS), J.W.Kim's Norwegian TKD school by hearing (Kor) & T.Achtaz (GER).
He live and work in New york by Postal office after working several days each he continue to follow
his famous japanese master Toyotaro Miyazaki of karate club in Flushing, N.Y. and he has experienced to
compete by hearing championships then he was first time to share in Miami, Flo for the 8th World martial arts tournament of the deaf under I.M.A.F.D. with his great enthusiasm to communicate together all world fraternal deafs.





When she was 5 or 6 years old, she wanted to join JUDO with her brother but the class was boys only. She really enjoys other martial arts as Tai Chi, Kickboxing (aerobic dancing only), and Kung Fu because she loves dancing and fun. She had promised to a few instructors and masters (including a founder) of Taekwondo that she would teach self defense for the deaf women and give a presentation of deaf culture before she earned 1st degree black belt and to become instructor trainee. She had worked in aircraft businesses and other engineering fields as an engineer (mechanical and electrical) for 10 years.
