a breve distanza da Siena, vicino alla pieve rinascimentale di Valdipugna. La villa, un
tempo usata per la mietitura del grano, si erge su un bastione in splendida posizione
panoramica con viste spettacolari: la città di Siena, boschi e dolci colline a perdita
d’occhio fino alle pendici del monte Amiata; stupendi i tramonti. . Troverete una atmosfera esclusiva, ricca di suggestioni, nelle sale dipinte con i colori e le sfumature delle terre senesi. Arredamento con mobili d’epoca di stile toscano. Spazio esterno arredato con mobili da giardino, illuminazione notturna. Ampio prato soleggiato con alberi di olivo. Piscina. Riscaldamento con antiche stufe a legna.

English Villa L'Aia Picturesque tuscan farmhouse, built on a medieval outpost; it is surrounded by vineyards, olive trees and cypresses; the villa is very close to Siena, nearby an ancient pretty renaissance church. The villa, once used for the harvest of the wheat, is standing on the top of a bastion with an extraordinary panoramic view: the town of Siena, woods and charming sienese hills towards the Amiata mountain. You specially will enjoy the dramatic sunsets. From here you can easily reach in a very short time the heart of the Chianti area, Montalcino and Pienza, the thermal baths of Rapolano and Bagno Vignoni, the Maremma and its seaside. The villa has been owned, trough the centuries, by the Counts Fumi Cambi Gado and was recently restored by a descendent, famous art historian. The atmosphere inside is rich of suggestions: interiors painted with colors and shadows of the sienese earths, decorated with antique Tuscan style furniture. The large open space and the lawn with olives trees are equipped with garden furniture. Night-lights outside. Swimming pool. This settlement makes the villa and its environments one of the most exclusive place of the tuscan countryside. You can choose between two different apartments. An inner connection is available if you would like the opportunity to rent the entire villa.
